Dexter, Harley, & Indy - Pool Time 2024
When we were married and blended our families in 2009 we had 4 girls, 1 boy, and 2 cats. When the kids grew up and moved away and the cats moved on we discovered a new appreciation for only having responsibility for taking care of and feeding ourselves. While we would have, of course, welcomed our kids back home, it was a different story for animals. We swore we would never have animals again, especially dogs. I don't believe either of us truly understood the connection or the love people had with their furry little (or big) family members.
As with most people in this country, when 2020 arrived a series of life-changing events began to occur and continued for the next few years. We started building a new home, I was laid off from the job I had moved to OKC from my hometown of 35 years for, Chris retired from the Norman Fire Department after 22 years of service, and my sweet dad was diagnosed with stage 4 small cell lung cancer. We ultimately accepted the fact that we were both in a depressed state. It wasn't until we had Easter at my ex-husband's house in 2023 (forgiveness is such an amazing gift) that we met his Miniature Schnauzer, "Mo". As we drove home that evening we talked about how much we needed a Miniature Schnauzer in our life. A few short months later Harley Quinzel entered our lives. When you have 1 you might as well have 2, so Dexter Morgan made his arrival. Of course, if you have 2 you must have 3, so Indy Anna joined our family a few months later. They have truly changed our lives for the better! We don't know what we would do without them. We have only ever fed them the food we make for them and they have always been happy, healthy, and energetic with shiny, healthy coats and bright eyes. They love to swim in the pool, run around the yard, take long walks in the neighborhood, and especially chow down on the amazing dog food Chris makes for them.
We started this small home-based business so we could share our original, nutritious and fresh homemade dog food with our friends, family, and you!
